Biography

Richy B is a rapper, musical trailblazer and a man who always gets what he wants. Richy, after all, he is a self-made 17-year-old artist who simply doesn’t play by anyone’s rules but his own. At the young age of 10 with only his hunger for music to drive him and with no major label backing he began recording raps. As a result Richy B has become the one and only rapper to emerge from the Midwest with such a unique flow, and style, in all of his raps. Indulging in his love of hip-hop, pop rock, and electro remixes Richy B managed to create his own style of rap and hiphop. Born Richard Brandon Barnes he moved to Kansas at a young age but still went back and forth to Okmulgee Oklahoma At this time he was already influenced by a lot of music like Lil’ Wayne, Gucci Mane, Tupac, Biggie, Paul Wall, T.I., Ludacris, Lil Boosie, Messy Marv, Jay Z, UGK, Bubba Sparxxx & Eminem. He is still attending high school but hes taking his music carreer to the next level. He later started recording and producing his own rap songs. Richy B used his music as a platform to share his experiences with girls and his hatred of being stereotyped. In 2010 Richy B released his single entitled "Stuntin On Y'all" and it had over 5,000 Downloads just for a Snippet. The full version is due out Later this year. Richy is also working on releasing another single entitled "Look At Me Now" which is the 3rd single off his Debut LP. Richy B is currently working on a new LP entitled “All By Myself” Due out Sometime before 2012. The LP will feature: Tracks like "Look At Me Now", "Always With U", "Stuntin On Y'all". As of today none of the songs have leaked but he has given his fans and the streets a chance to listen to him as he put them on his myspace page and his blog. Richy B said, "I know this is a Black Man's game and I have to be better than what they expect." When he said that i knew he was going to be special.

Debut Album



This is my Debut album that i will be working on for the next couple of months still don't know the set date it will drop, but i have a feeling if it goes well that it will drop before 2011, it has some of the tracks that ive wrote from personal experiences, and about me life.

Some people have asked me why i named it All By Myself, because i've had barely any support and I feel that i'm doing this all by myself, but the only people that have given me support are some of my really close friends and some of the people i'm close to in my family.
